First Street Mansion

~Welcome to the Mansion~

A warm breeze carries the scent of roses and
jasmine as the wrought gates loom overhead.
Passing through them is a long driveway, leading
to the house in the distance. To the left is a
large green lawn, edged with decorative shrubs.
A fountain placed in the center of the lawn
spashes quietly as you approach the house.
Painted in white, it stands out against it's
setting of colorful gardens and lush green lawns.
The house rises high, the two lofty stories lined
with long rectangular windows. The second level
is surrounded by a balcony which extends all
around the house, while a long porch circles the
bottom story.Upon reaching the intricately carved
double doors, a warmpth eminates from the mansion,
as if the house itself is inviting you in. Soft
light glows through the windows as another soft
breeze blows across the entryway. Once inside,
every sense is overwhelmed by the mansion's
grandness. You enter a huge hall, decorated with
mouldings and richly painted adornments on the
ceilings and walls. Chandeliers hang down from the
high ceiling, lighting a elaborately decorated
parlor occupying the right corner of the first
floor. Over the glossy hardwood floors are
beautiful woven carpets, the furnature blending
with the lavishly orante style of the house. To
the left, the hall tapers into a narrower
passageway lined with many rooms including a huge
library, many comfortable studies, restrooms and
a few locked doors. Another smaller set of stairs
is placed in the middle of this hall. A large
dining room is at the end of the hall, decorated
in deep tones and dark wood. A large mahogany bar
occupies one wall, the ceiling of the room is
dropped, giving it a cozy, intimate ambiance.
Wooden swinging doors behind the bar lead to the
large kitchen which is composed mostly of
stainless steel apparatus. On the second story are
the large bedrooms. Fifteen of which are guest
rooms, each decorated differently from the other,
and all filled with charm. At the end of the hall
are the suites, five in all, which are the owner's
personal rooms. In one of these rooms is the
passageway which leads to the attic, used mostly
for storage. The house is filled with elegance and
warmpth, enchanting all of it's visitors. However
no mansion of such size or age is complete without
it's supernatural appeal. There is a sense of the
preternatural within it's walls, the unearthly,
though not unfriendly presence of transcendental
beings. Truly a place of interest, where anything
imaginable can....and most likely will happen.
